~Rough Day~

Valdosta, Georgia
February 3, 2016 7:49pm CST
Wow, it has been a crazy day...actually a crazy week really! I haven't been here today because I was in the hospital. I had a fever all night last night, I didn't know what was wrong so I went to get checked out. Turns out i have an upper respiratory infection. =( They gave me an IV and tylenol for the fever when I was there. And I have to take antibiotics. We were there 8 hours! It was awful. So glad I am out of the hospital and we are going to our house soon. I hope your day was better than mine!

Hospitals are famous for spreading these kind of ailments. Hope all will be well soon. A warm hug to Julian is on its way,

@fishtiger58 Yeah, healing after labor is hard enough without having a fever and infection on top of it!

I wonder if you caught it at the hospital while having your baby @LovingMyBabies . Sometimes hospitals are the fastest place to catch something. Keep a close eye on the baby.

Where was the new baby all this time? Hope you are better soon. This respiratory stuff seems to be going around a lot. Both my kids here had it and it seems like a lot of members on here have it too.

Oh my. You have my sympathy. I know how horrid this is as I was ill myself before Christmas and had the same thing. I get respiratory tract infections quite often. I hope you feel better soon. Look after yourself and take time to heal.

Sounds like bronchitis. It can make some people so sick. I had it once, and my fever went almost up to 104. I thought I was going to die. It's going around right now, so take care of yourself, drink fluids, and take it easy until it passes.

@thankyouLord Yeah, I think I got it while pregnant because my immune system was low. I will be resting a lot and drinking a lot to stay hydrated.
