Foggy Brain

My brain is fogging this morning. I'm tired, which isn't all that unusual. My alarm was set to ring at 8:30am, so not an early morning. Lo and behold, at 7:00am the phone buzzed. I glanced down at the phone number which I did not recognize. I didn't answer thinking I was too tired. However, I was extremely miffed that this uncalled for wake-up caller did not leave a message. In other words, it was most likely a wrong number. GRRRRRRRR! So it's bad enough you wake me, but you wake me unnecessarily.
So I'm drinking my coffee while I enjoy some quiet. It's nearly time for me to wake the children. Quiet time is almost over.

Often times I will get a random text from one of my children in the early morning hours. I sent them back a message to let them know that I love them, but would appreciate not getting a text until at least 6 a.m. after the alarm clock goes off!

@jillybean1222 If the phone rings at a certain hour of the day, it rarely is a good call.

thanks, that is one of my favorite photos that i use when i blog. i took that about 2 years ago at a local park.

@DianneN yes, off hours phone calls scare me. we got the call about patrick's dad around 6am. so yes, i fear the worse.

@jillybean1222 The only calls I ever got that early were either from the phone service telling me school was canceled or a delayed opening. Once,nit was bad news.

@jillybean1222 Usually when they call I'm right here and my phone is at my fingertips, literally, so I'm answering on the first ring, even if I'm typing on here. I get their first how are you speil and I'm hanging up.

We have cloudy weather here and I never feel all that good when the barometer is in that position. Enjoy the quiet time at least!!

That's why I leave my cell phone in a different room. This tree is amazing, looks like a fantastic climbing tree. My youngest son who is almost 24 by the way would scramble right up that.
