Today has been a different sort of day. Younger son had school and I needed to make a special trip out of town to pick up a very important package.
So though she couldn't talk, she sat in the back seat on the way home, nothing but ashes.
You see my trip today went to pick up Pip and her paw print, which was more than a simple ink print, it is a plaster cast of her paw. It reminds me of the hand molds of my kids when they were in Kindergarten.
So now after a bite to eat at Culver's on the way home, I'm back here with you and here I'll stay until my eyes cannot remain open any longer.
Thanks for reading and I hope your day has been a good one so far.

I knew what I wanted to do when I was expecting an ink print of her paw, but now I'm not so sure how it will work. I have Rascal's ashes and paw print and was going to get a couple frames and put them in the frames along with pictures of them. However, the cast makes that a little hard to do. I'll most likely set Pip's ashes beside Rascal's.

I have the ashes of my lab in my bedroom with me at night it has been almost 4 years since I lost her and I think it is about time to spread her ashes, she would have loved it up here where I moved to and her new sisters she would have gotten along just fine with.

Thank you. I miss her, but I'm very happy I have her ashes and paw cast.
