You see it all the time but you cannot find it when you need it

Life is always so ironical.
There are many items in the house and in the office that you see all the time.
When you really need to use them, you cannot find them.
One good example is the little rubber band.
There are always some rubber bands lying around, and you always see them here, there, and everywhere.
When you want to tie something up, you have to search high and low, and yet cannot find any.
The next item is the umbrella.
Many of us have many umbrellas at home.
When you need to use one because it is raining heavily outside, you cannot find a usable one.
It is so frustrating to waste time hunting for something that should be around all the time.

happens to me all the time - I set things aside for future use then they mysteriously vanish to a new dimension for adventures of their own
