My Good Friday

Although it was still cold outside most of the roads were clear and Sharon had
asked me if I wanted to go have breakfast at Embers about 20 miles from here.
Since I was feeling housebound of course I said yes lets go and we did.
It is a nice place right off the Freeway and they always have good food.
Their special for breakfast was pancakes, egg and sausage which is what we
both had and we were even able to get the half breakfast which was one
pancake, one egg and one sausage which was plenty along with a cup of coffee.
We had thought about going to another town but had a text message that the
roads there were icy so we decided not to go there but did stop at the grocery
story once we were back in our town.
It was a good Friday for me, I hope today Saturday will be just as good.

I'm glad you had a good Friday and got to get out of the house. I get out of the house during the week for work then on weekends i'm usually stuck home as i'm too tired to do anything lol. This weekend i am determined and I'm not staying home.

@Blondie2222 Thanks and you should get out on the weekend and have some fun. I know when you work sometimes on the weekend all you want to do is sit and relax or stay in bed.

@Marcyaz yeah the past 3 weeks i been sick so i stayed home on the weekends to rest. I went out last night though and got home at 2am so it felt nice to get out of the house on a saturday for once.

I like when you can buy half meals at restaurants. It's a good idea for those of us who can never finish a whole meal. Have a great day.

@fishtiger58 I have a difficult time finishing meals at most restaurants but the ones who will give you the smaller portions is when I can eat everything on my plate and don't have to bring any food home. thank you and have a wonderful Saturday.

I haven't been out to have breakfast for six months or better. My daughter's boyfriend used to takes us when we went to get groceries but he wrecked his car.

We got a surprise snowfall on Friday and the roads were bad around here. I am glad, to here you had a nice day. I hope, your week end goes well.
