I am very happy today!

I am really happy today because I have my computer back. Hopefully I will be back on line a little more than I have in the past week or so. I did pop in but it was on my laptop which is slow and clunky and seems to take an eternity to do the simplest of tasks on it.
I collected the computer from my friends house this morning. During the week I was tempted to go and collect it but when I heard the traffic news and the traffic jams to get to his place I thought forget it collect it at the weekend instead.
Well I am home now and have it installed. I still have to add a few more things to the computer to make it how I like it. He also installed windows 10 on it for me so I will have to have a little play around to explore and get used to it. I am pleased with what I have seen so far.
I am going to dinner to my daughters later so that saves me cooking later. I will make some pancakes on Tuesday as it is Shrove Tuesday. It is traditional to have them in our house on that day even though I will be on my own. I only did a small shop yesterday to get some essential things as I am sure there is enough stuff in the freezer and food cupboards.
I have seen some of the beautiful sunset and sunrise photos for a challenge I believe set by @Raelove . The photo I have added is sunset over the Nile in Egypt. It was quite spectacular but funnily enough although it was hot when the sun was up as soon as it had set the temperatures drop quite significantly.

Oh yes, Shrove Tuesday - Pancake day! Time to get the frying pans out, two on the go at once.
Nice Nile pic! The temperature drops quickly in Saharan and sub-Saharan countries, spectacularly so because of the usually clear night skies.

I know I got marooned in the desert in Jordan for a few hours just after sun set it was blooming freezing. OH yes I have bought some lemons to go with the pancakes on Tuesday!

I made some Canadian pancakes and boy were they delicious. Well you can make the most of them on Shrove Tuesday as it is the last day until Easter Sunday Anna.

Your photo is outstanding. I also prefer a desk top, I think they run better and last longer than laptops. I know some would argue including my two laptop sons lol.
