Superbowl Sunday

Like many Americans, my family and I watched the Super Bowl, commercials. We have a little different tradition at my house for Superbowl Sunday. We eat some kind of wonderful junk food, last night it was nachos. We start the show about an hour or so late, skip the game by fast forwarding and watch the commercials. Strange I know, but we love it. They have the best commercials during the super bowl. It is the exact opposite of what we normally do, we usually watch the show and skip the commercials.
We loved the Ultrasound Doritos commercial, and the mini coke with the Hulk and Antman. Those we our favorite ones.
Our least favorites were the Kickstart Mountain Dew, puppy monkey baby. I know that many did like this one, but I just did not care for it. It seemed a bit warped.
Also I really disliked the one with the guy that tried to kiss a Marmet. YUCK! I have no idea what that one was even for, some outdoor company.
I loved the half time show since it had Bruno Mars, He is an amazing dancer. I am also very excited by the new Independence Day movie, we watch the old one every Independence Day.

It is amazing isn't it. Normally we get up and leave the room when the commercials come on, but not on Super Bowl Sunday during the game. I didn't watch the game, heard it, but was having too much fun myLotting. Besides, my team wasn't in it, so no real interest. I heard about the Doritos commercial. It's both my sons favorite commercial. I'll need to go to YouTube to watch the commercials.

I read most of the day. I did see some of the half time show. I did not enjoy it at all, and used my remote to skip most of it. I saw some of the commercials in the second half. I like the one with the singing sheep.

@mom210 I saw a bit of Beyonce's performance. They had on very little, and danced like women in strip joints.

I rarely watch the game but this year I wanted to see Peyton Manning on what might be his last performance. It seems like yesterday that I was following his dad Archie!!

We loved the commercials, too! I loved the series of commercials for the car full of bank robbers that kept going ... and going ... and going. It was so funny! I also liked the Doritos one with the Ultrasound. Great! I also liked the Heinz one with the "hot dogs."

I enjoyed it all, but I love football. I DVR it so I can go back and rematch any commercials I inadvertently miss. I liked the commercial for Avocados from Mexico. It's been so long ago you may not remember it. It involved aliens giving a tour of exhibits of things previously popular on earth. Scott Baio was one of the exhibits.
I hated the puppy/monkey/baby commercial.

Sounds like you had a good time watching the commercials. We watched part of the game and some of the commercials, but missed most of the more popular and talked about commercials. We don't have a TV in the kitchen where we eat, so missed everything that was on while we had super. And of course, that's when the best commercials seemed to air.
