No One is Qualified to Lead

I am tired of politics and the favoritism that I see around everywhere. No one is qualified for the position, so I don't really care which of the figure heads people are backing. The system has long been broken and one or two new ideas in office won't do anything to fix it. Everyone is self-serving and no one cares about the greater scheme, so let's not fight so much who sits down when the music stops, so long as they are capable of changing the bigger picture. No one is qualified to lead. It's just a dirty game.

I do agree with you on that. All in all, no one really knows what they are doing. And they are most likely going to screw up one way or another

Or they will be controlled by whatever hands are in the shadows manipulating people. One of the only reasons I like Trump is that he doesn't owe anyone his position. He isn't being controlled like others are. Also, he's a business man. I don't want politicians because they are terrible. I want people that know what numbers mean.

@OneOfMany You make good points. I haven't made my mind up either way yet.

@T_gray I just know that whatever we get it won't be anything that the country needs. In fact the whole global system needs to change, and no politician can be entrusted with doing that.

I think the whole system of government needs to be reworked. We're already in a new age, it's time for an upgrade.

@Lucky15 Well that's good. I would run here, but I'm going to try to change things from the shadows so I don't have to deal with the foolishness.

@OneOfMany maybe ours, with the constitution, anyone can run as long as he/she is qualified--base on the constitution

We all seem to pick out the ones we don't want to early on!

I like Bernie Sanders but I don't think that he could get much done unless Congress changed.

I don't like the socialist system though. And Bernie is really fond of taxes, and I really am not.

I agree with you, 100%!

Thank you. This world is pretty messed up, so I guess the dirty game is the most non-threatening thing going on.

pretty much, I see a few that scare me more than others, easier to pick who not to vote for rather than who to

I've always disliked choosing the lesser evil. I want candidates that people have trouble choosing because it would result in a win/win situation.

@Jessicalynnt I've always wanted to see it. I would love to have the whole party system on its head because of such choices.

Politics is broken. Too much money, religion and self-interest involved. Unfortunately, that's why dictators and extremists do so well - everyone's just sick of the lies and rubbish. Solution? Probably isn't one... the people who rule have been the wrong people since we started having governments (no matter what country you live in), with a few rare exceptions. :(

Just look at all of Plato's quotes and you can see the flaws of government way back then!
