Random Word Post – ineluctable

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it.

“ineluctable – Not to be escaped or avoided; inevitable.”
It’s most certainly ineluctable that few people will use this word, and if the concept comes up, will use unavoidable instead.

Another odd word that you don't really hear anyone say. And I would say, words like this is what makes learning the english language very hard for people trying to learn it. I guess we take it for granted. But even people here have a hard time with the language at times.
