Dipping My Toe Into the Water

I'm not sure when I first signed up for MyLot and sadly I didn't do any reading or writing when I did.
Today I saw a post from a long time Epinions friend that had the MyLot tag on it. After some frustrating minutes trying to figure out my name and password here the door opened and I came in.
I'm happy to see many familiar names and am anxious to reunite with old friends and make some new friends too.
This site looks like fun and I've been enjoying reading and slowly adjusting to another writing site. I've missed writing ever since my 'Bubble' burst and I'm sure hoping to get addicted to this site.

Since being 'burned' on Bubblews I was a slow starter on Mylot. Now that I have been here for a while, have reconnected with many bubblers I'm having fun.

I've belonged to mylot for some years but as with everyone else Bubblews left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully things will work for the better here.

I was surprised that you didn't have that many numbers after your name if you signed up years ago, but I've done that before too. In fact I happened to do that on bubblews with my actual name, but had to do something different when I finally was ready to begin. My name was already taken and I found out later it was I that took it.
It seems like you went missing from bubblews quite a while before they shut down?
