Free Food from School

NO ONE can resist FREE FOOD from school. I recall my university days where we've got free food and drinks on various occasions. Definitely one of the best perks. We had a varitety of pizzas, cocktail baguettes, sandwiches, finger foods, grilled beef cous cous, fruit punches, red and white wines. One of the most unforgettable free meals I've had was the chicken wrap and salad. We had this several times (they came with chilled sparkling water/juice) as we sat in our discipline's research seminars. The quality of the chicken wrap and salad was really good and my professors and course mates cleaned them out each and every time. Photo: I heart free food from school

@TRBRocks420 and would it be a Pizza with a red sauce with double pepperoni, sausage and maybe some onions on it ? Or are you a better pizza eater-- white sauce, loaded with broccoli, mushrooms, ground beef, onions and red peppers ???

We never got free food while in school but we did used to get free food when I worked. Some of our vendors would send food over sometimes, especially during the holidays.

You've reminded me of the spirit of food sending among friends, family, co-workers or even complete strangers. It brings such warmth.

I remember my first college experience with 'free food' that was relatively good tasting and maybe even good for the body as back then I really did not care too much of what food was satiating my hunger

Don't we all? You kind of expect college kids to demolish anything food that's placed in front of them.

When I was in college, once a month the church people brought food for students and families and we enjoyed home- cooked food together.

@Ladypeace, On funnier side, Thank god, I didn't have such kind of getting free food facility at our college. Otherwise, I would have become fat by the time I get my Grad degree with ZERO knowledge. Because, As I busy consuming free food as much as I can, Where is the time to study subjects and grasping them ??

No free food in college for us. You were a lucky one to get to enjoy delicious free food. Wish I attended your school instead of mine. We were always hungry it seemed!

It looks so yummy. I do think we can't refuse free food since some people cannot afford to eat or they don't have food to eat.
