Who would Donald Trump choose for his running mate?

Donald Trump delights in being singularly unpleasant to his fellow Republican candidates, so do you reckon that any of them would want to accept his nomination as running mate should he win the Primaries? Does that just leave Sarah Palin as his sole possibility?

Probably! But Trump might just be foolish enough to rush in where John McCain just as foolishly rushed in eight years ago!

At this point I don't think any of the other current and past candidates would accept a VP nod from him. But I think none of them would accept a VP from anyone. It isn't just Trump who has become unpleasant to the others. Cruz is disliked by the others and Rubio is now at odds. That said, I suspect Huckabee might accept an offer from Trump.

I think he has backed himself in corner with all the bad talk he has done. Perhaps if he wins it would be the first time there won't be a VP.

I've just been reading an article that suggests that his behaviour is typical "alpha male" - a scientist has compared his approach to politics to that of the dominant male in a group of apes. The response is either flight or fight - only Ted Cruz so far has adopted the fight response.
