Unfinished Project

I have been working my way to finishing my cross stitch. I started it a couple of years ago and I mean to give it to my friend. Unfortunately, I procrastinated, got busy for real, lost interest for a while, run out of some threads. It looks promising and not to brag or anything but it is of good quality. I feel guilty not being able to finish it, and I know I have no one else to blame but myself. I keep telling myself to just do it. I know it sounds so trivial but it sure is hard to get back on my creative zone. I even resolved that I will be able to finish this by winter's end since I will be home most of the time during my days off, but I soon found other stuff to do and started other projects as well.

Well, perhaps you should just resume your project one day and just see how far it goes. If you make it far, then you better continue until you finish it. I hope your friend likes it.

@Tierkreisze since this post I have not touched it yet. We've been out of town this long weekend and tonight I plan to get on it. I'm even setting up a reminder on my phone.

I use to enjoy it a lot, now I just don't feel like doing it. I hope I find the motivation to finish it.

When I was having my OJT before, I also tried to learn cross-stitching. Since it is the project of secondary level students. During the course of internship, I was able to do it with the students and finished at the end of internship program. I think you can have do it during your free time. In time, you would be able to finish it.

My problem is I am always finding reasons not to have time for it. I blame nobody else of course. I will try my best to set some time even for half an hour everyday.
