Oh!goody. My favorite snack crackers are on sale. triscuit, wheat thins,Chicken in a biscuit. Two for four dollars. Good. So what is my beef. Here it is four in the afternoon.Time for a cocktail and some snacks.Chicken in the biscuit with cheddar cheese. Do you ever see a complete box of crackers that are not all broken up. Have of them are in good shape and the other half not. All broken up in small pieces. This has been a issue for me. Why are the second half mostly all broken up.How is this cause. By the manufacture?Something is not right. The same thing with potato chips The second half are all broken up.Why is this and why do we not have an answer. We pay good money here. Not only crackers, but a lot of the others. Do you come across with this?

I believe this happens during shipment, as those boxes are not always handled with tender loving care. I love the Triscuit with Olive Oil and Dill. So good.

I kind of see the broken ones as "cost of doing business." Does the weight of the upper ones crunch the lowers ones during shipment?

The broken ones settle to the bottom of the bag or box.

I used to love Chicken in a Biscuit - but they are way too full of sodium. Plus they make very vry thirsty. I switched to Wheat Thins. The kind of bags they are packed in should make them almost indestructible.

I noticed a shop worker throwing biscuits on the shelf the other day and told her off for doing it that way as they would all be broken. Look on the bright side though Alfredo. By being broken like that it could be that they are trying to help you eat them so you do not have to chew

I come across this a lot. Call the toll free number on the box. They will ask you for the lot code on each box. 100% of the time the company will send me free coupons for replacement boxes.

I guess they are not handled as carefully as they could be during transport.

most of the time that happens during shipping and when they are putting the stuff on the shelves sometimes they are too rough handling the chips and crush them

I agree with you. I´m sure there is a bad handling of the chips when they are places in the shelves and noone cares. We should make a potato chip eaters strike and not buy them until they are not broken
