Would you hurt somebody who...

... really ruined your life?, given that you will be allowed to get away with it without any problems. He/she has done such a really bad thing which was enough to destroy your good life. You are given a chance to do revenge as you wish till your grudge ends. Would you hurt him/her back? I know we are taught to forgive the most. I will try my best to forgive him/her. Even if I couldnt fully with my heart I wont hurt the person. Would you? What do you think? Is it justified when you hurt somebody like that?

Probably. Not sure though. My ex boyfriend ruined a lot of my life and has left me with emotional scars and issues that are hard to shake off and sometimes I day dream about screwing something up for him in his life but at the end of the day, that most likely wouldn't fix my issues now and would only cause more problems if he knew I did something. I have wondered about trying to get revenge on other people who honestly deserve it but I haven't. I think I just day dream about it but doubting I will actually take action on it.

I feel sorry for you.. Its shocking sometimes when someone who we believe will be with us against all odds are the ones against us. I hope they will be paid for their actions.

@aju007,A difficult question.Of course, there are a couple of persons in my neighbourhood who have hurt me,caused me pain and sleepless nights, and I will definitely pay them in the same coin. They are much more resourceful than me,but that's the only such experience.

I sincerely hope that I would not hurt the person as revenge is never the answer, however, One has to be in the situation to be sure of what their response would be. Blessings.

There is a relative who tried to ruin another one of my relative's lives. The way that relative got back at the other was through taking him to court and then after all the court mess was over, then they ignored the one who set out to hurt them.

I forgave all who ruined my life. Family as well. God picked a path for me, and with this, it's also his vengeance that will fix things, not mine.

This is one of those situations where you wouldn't know how you would react unless it happened to you. I hope I could forgive them, but if they had caused harm to someone I loved and showed no remorse, who knows?
