Weirdness. I'm grabbing the mild temps while they are here. Tumbleweeds look so romantic in the old Western movies. Reality literally bites. Tumbleweeds are big balls of wicked stickers. Hair thin stickers. Total ow! I managed to cram some tumbleweeds into our outdoor stove. They love to take over our domesticated garden patches. I also checked out the garden dirt today, hoeing out some of the weed carpet. A bald eagle sailed over while I was outside. Next time I go out I plan to just lolly gag. Warm afternoons are a great time to spy on wild birds.
