What makes a family to you?

I think some might think I am crazy for asking this. I think many people think of family in different ways. I know for me blood lines don't define family. So,if you are able to I would love to know what makes a family in your eyes? Thanks

agree, bloodlines don't define family. no same dna and everything..still a family :)

@sharon6345 and @Lucky15 I do not even know my relative as much as I know my best friends. They might be bloodlines but they have not been in my life.

Family to me is my friends that have been in my life since high school. I have watched their children grew up and their grandchildren grew up.

I fully agree, blood lines do not make a family. For me a family are people that I love and that have my same interests and ideas, my husband is my family.
