The public library is a great online resource

I'm in the process of doing research for my first book, and I've discovered something about my local library that I didn't know. I went online to check their catalog for a certain book I'd like to borrow. The library didn't have the book (they will get it for me via inter-library loan), but my search turned up a number of articles on the same subject.
These articles are readable on the library's site. But they are not otherwise available on the web. In other words, if I hadn't found them while doing a search of the library's catalog, I wouldn't even know they exist, since they don't show up in Google searches.
So, I've been able to get some great information that I didn't find anywhere else, and it's all due to my local public library.
Even in this digital age, libraries still have a vital role.

It is great that there is online access as well.

For libraries to have physical books as well as online access gives us the best of both worlds.

good luck wit your book. I love that you can get books from all different libraries now a days. What a great age we live in.
