The Amazing Serval, the Serval is a rarely talked about, medium sized wild cat, that is native to Africa, they can get about 36 inches in height and, 40 pounds. So, they aren't giants, but bigger than house cats, they are also highly intelligent and, great at outsmarting both prey and, predators, the Serval can also run 50 mph and, jump about 10 foot in the air, to catch small birds in flight. The Serval looks kind of like a Cheetah, because it also has black spots, but it has bigger ears for hearing and, is smaller in stature, they mostly hunt Rodents and, Birds, the Serval communicates in the same way as a house cat.

The measurement shows it is really bigger like a small tiger, how will it care like a pet one?

Yes, it's a pretty good size and, might be ok if raised as a baby, but shouldn't really be a pet, because would be dangerous, especially to other pets.

@shshiju It has potential to be, but would probably think of it's owner as Mom or Dad.

That's very big cat that I've heard. In my country, we have bigger wild cats in the forest. We called the wild cat as Civet cat or "musang".

Well he's not as big as the real big ones, but still good size. What is the Civet Cats scientific name?

Thank you for highlighting this oft overlooked wild cat. While the "big" cats get all the attention the Serval is just as important to the ecosystems of its habitat as are the more famous felines.

Yes, actually most Cats are great jumpers even house cats, my cat Smokey could jump from the ground all the way on top of my cupboards, which is at least 8 foot high.
