How's love life? Got that message on face book yesterday. From someone i have known for years. I answered him, still zero, nada, zilch. Then he said, he read one of my post that says, "God gave me you beh". Can not help but to laugh. Like i really laughed hard. Told him, for someone who is smart, you jump into conclusion that what i posted is something with my love life. So fast that he never noticed that i add a local sitcom. Yes, that line came from the sitcom i am watching during that time. I don't know what got into him that he just think of... hahaha. Oh well. He should just ask me than jump into conclusion. Like ASK ME DIRECTLY. Have you ever "misurderstood" by someone you posted on line?

I don't need to be online to be misunderstood. It happens all the time.

Very true! You can be misunderstood anywhere even in public with people who don't know you.

I am more misunderstood in real life than online, unfortunately this happens all the time. People do not listen, so they do not understand what you say and you mean.

Sometimes there are people who jump into conclusion quickly. At least he private messaged you though and not say anything silly where everyone could see and make a fool of himself lol.

Most times, we ourselves jump to conclusions without verifying the facts!

You are lucky, at least you got the opportunity to clarify! It is so much worse when people misunderstand something you said, form a (negative) opinion of you and you don't even know what is going on! Regardless, sounds like he is interested, just not brave enough to ask you directly. What about you? Do you reciprocate what he is yet to convey? :P ;) Maybe you could help him out a little :P

This happens all the time and worse is when you do not get an opportunity to clarify.

I think that it is quite easy to misinterpret the written word as there are no visual cues as to what you really mean.

All the time. When you write a short response, there is no facial expression, no tonal variations to expand those few words.
