Today is National Tortilla Chip Day bet you didn't know that. It's really a Corny Holiday. Today is a tribute to Corn Chips and Salsa which more and more people eat every day. It is one of America's favorite munchies. Let's celebrate today with with a handful of crunchy, tasty corn chips and your favorite salsa or dip. The corn chip recipe was brought to the U.S. from Mexico by Texas businessman Elmer Doolin, way to go Elmer. The recipe for today is taco dip and the flower for today is Larkspur.

lol noooo not another day to celebrate a certain food! I mean it's good tasty food but why does it need a day for celebration?

@Marcyaz Strange could be a good word for it. I'm thinking more along the lines of stupid and unnecessary.

I'm picky about the brand of tortilla chips I buy and really prefer making my old. Best served with Guacamole!

We had those a few days ago. I sometimes buy them for my son. He likes to make that dip he makes it himself with the Velveeta and Rotell and lime juice.
