Under a strong storm warning

Shortly upon awakening this morning we were startled by the loudest crash of thunder I have ever heard. It sounded like it was on top of us and the house literally shook. Hubs thought there had been an explosion in the neighborhood.
We were under a tornado warning for several hours. That has passed but storm clouds are still very dark in the sky. It is not a good day to go out but we need to go to the pharmacy to pick up hubs prescription.
We will be gone for a couple hours and then I will be back.

Those look like some really nasty clouds. We had the same storm come through but we didn't have thunder. It was in the 30's and we had a lot of rain and some very high winds. Yesterday and today, it's a bit chilly but the sun is shining.

It is not cold like up north here in Florida but the thunder and lightening seems so much stronger.

We had a beautiful day but we are now being warned about heavy rains and tornadoes possible BUT the rest of the week looks beautiful!

oh dear! don't reckon i knew ya'll were havin' those troubles's well, hon. please stay safe 'n alert! seems that tornado season's 'pon folks early this year. they'd quite a few runnin' amok 'round louisiana, alabama 'n mississippi last eve 'n i truly hope folks paid 'ttention to such. i did hear that'n louisiana 't least one person lost their life :(
's fer our weather today? thank the stars the sun's come outta hidin' 'n we're headin' back to warmer temps. although i could use with a bit less wind.

It's been snowing sideways for almost 4 hours now. We have over 2 inches of snow with possibly 6 more inches. Yuck.

No storms here but it is cold here today. I had to be outside for a while earlier and I got earaches in both ears due to the cold and I wasn't even outside for very long.
