My sister had been sick since January and i shared about her requesting for prayers. She was finally diagnosed and as i request for more prayers i hope sharing this can help someone. She was found to have Tb but it is in a curable state. She will be on medication for the next six months. These were the symptoms she had. (hope by sharing this it will help create awareness incase you ever have these symptoms or someone else you might know; I am not saying they might be suffering from same but it would not hurt to have them tested) Hers started as a cold that came in form of a sore throat. She took cold medication but then again the pain on the throat did not go away. It became painful to an extent she could not even eat. She went to the hospital and got strong antibiotics and the problem kind of went away and her voice came back. After that she started experienced pain on the ribs. Incase she stayed outisde in the cold she also experienced chest pains. She went back to the hospital and was diagnosed with pneumonia which was treated but the pain on ribs and chest did not go away. She went back and was told to have a scan and she was found to have fluid in between the ribs and the lung on the right side. The fluid was removed and tested which turned out to be Tb.

So Sorry to hear that but they can clear it up with medication. I have a friend who was diagnosed with TB also and he is not a carrier although some people are. Depending on where you work some will want you to have a TB test before being hired. Glad they did find out what was causing her discomfort.

She is getting better each day. Atleast the various pains she was feeling are disappearing and now all she need is to finish the medicine
