His friend said there was money hidden in the ceiling.

We had a friend who died. My son moved into her apartment. He had a dream that she told him that she hid a great deal of insurance money in the ceiling. She did not trust banks. My son started looking the next day. He spent hours taking down all the ceiling tiles and did not find anything but dust. He spent another day putting all the tiles back up. Did you ever do something stupid because of a dream?

Heh. No. But I do believe dreams are telling us something.

Sorting it out is hard. Is it a message from beyond, or too much pepperoni on the late night pizza?

@akalinus I think we're working out unconscious conflicts, and also consolidating memories from the previous day.

I do. Its worth a try, who knows you might end up a bit more richer and besides i think the ceiling needs some cleaning up already.:-) Theres nothing wrong in trying.

@akalinus He should try to sleep again and ask in his dreams if there are other places to look for. Since ceiling is already compromised. :-)

He moved out of there long ago. If there is money to find, it will be found by someone else.

I have woken up really mad at my husband because of a dream and then had problems shaking that feeling. But no, I haven't ever acted on anything because of a dream.

That must have been very frustrating for your son. But I have heard of real incidents happening because of dreams. My granny dreamt of so many things, most of which were true!

No and I will never do one. That's why they are just dreams--they are far from reality,

My dad spent a few months in a coma due to a hit and run, when he was a child. During this time he had a lot of dreams. He had a very vivid dream about playing with some toys his grandpa left for him in the attic. He thought it really happened. So the first thing he did after he got better was tear up that attic looking for those things. He didn't find anything. Must have broke his little heart.

How interesting! I wish he had at least found something from the dream up there.

The dream must've felt real to him. I'm not sure if I would've made that move but sometimes people just have to know.

He thought there might be some truth to it. I would have wanted to know. What if it was there and he did not look for it?

It would have been a disappointment for your son. Would he have been able to keep the money though if he had found any?
