In fact I have always considered to buy a Kindle for reading. But sometimes I am also worried about whether it will have a bad effect on the eyesight. Today I checked Amazon.com and I found out that Kindle is USD79.99 and Fire is just USD49.99 and this is so strange in my opinion. Or the price for Kindle increased suddenly?

Yeah I noticed that too youless. I bought the fire 7 and 10 and together even cheaper than the most expensive Kindle Voyager.

Perhaps I shall wait for some time to see whether it can be cheaper.

There are several Kindle readers, the basic model (that is NOT glare-free) starts at 49.99, the glare-free models, for what I can remember, were always about 79.99 or more, the one with a higher resolutions costs 119.99.

@LadyDuck I bought something from Amazon in USA once since there are some companies which can ship the products to China. But I don't know the delivery companies in France or Italy. So I can't buy anything from Amazon there.
