It now looks probable that either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton will be the next President of the United States. Both claim to be unifiers, but they both excite considerable hatred from their detractors.
What are the prospects of the United States being unified whichever candidate wins in November?

This is a race for the hot seat and as it is always the case, each candidate is out to convince the public what he or she is gonna do if voted in.But I remember listening to a discussion that focused on Donald Trump as an aspiring candidate and this particular person said it seems like the Americans wants an aggressive person as their next president. In this case,it was obvious that Donald Trump is the one who is out speaking courageously about issues.

There is a difference between being aggressive and being assertive. You don't get far in either national or international politics by being aggressive, which Trump will soon find out should he win the top job.

Both are Polarizing figures so they were very far from a Uniting President. If America wanted a Unifying President , they should give an independent candidate not related to Democrats and Republicans as a President but that wont happen.

I think Hillary might be better than Donald because Trump is a wild card. And he will make more enemies than Hillary would.

I find the US election system very complex. I hope they get a strong president. They certainly need it.
