Woke up at four AM again.

I went into the living room and my husband woke up and followed me in there. If it was not dark outside we would go for our walk already. I keep waking up early. Maybe I will never have a normal sleep pattern again. We will go back to sleep later. But now I am on the computer and Patches is outside with my husband. It is almost seven AM now. So Patches is back in the house and we are going for our walk. Be back later.

I guess it will take awhile to regulate your day/night sleep patterns. At least you were able to go for an early walk

No one is around that early so it is a nice walk when we have the whole park to ourselves.

@jstory07 You must be taking a nap in the daytime then if you are going to sleep at midnight and waking up so early in the morning.

I am probably the worst night-time sleeper, I never get actually tired enough to crawl into bed till well after midnight and then if I don't hit a deep REM sleep cycle, suffer for it the next day. Started adding more magnesium and honestly, that is helping to get tired later in the evening after the sun goes down well before midnight and I found sleeping on my left side to start keeps me sleeping longer without turning around disrupting that precious REM stage

When our bodies are used to a certain thing, it can be difficult to change it. Give it some time, and I'm sure you will too.

I am sure in time I will adjust if not there is a Walmart in Oregon open 24 hours. The one here turned to open and close.

It so happens that at times one may just find it hard to readapt to the initial sleeping pattern may be due work related reasons.

It's odd if you've just started to do that. I very rarely go to sleep before 4am myself, but sleep until 10/11am.

I think that you need more time to adjust to a new sleeping pattern. May be after you will move into the new house.

I too have been waking up around 4 am every day, though mine is because I am in the final weeks of pregnancy and am nesting.
