I just can’t get warm tonight

I just can’t get warm tonight Tonight I just can’t get warm no matter how I try. I think I might go and have nice hot soak in the bath to warm me up. I just hope I’m not coming down with something. I know It’s cold outside with a temperature of about 36F and then you have the windy chill factor making it much colder. The heating is on in the house but I still can’t get warm. I’ve put extra clothing on to. Off to run a bath.

I hope that it warms up for you soon. That is still plenty cold this time of year. At least, spring is on its way, and then it will be much warmer, than it is now.

We have a lovely thick blanket of snow that you may borrow.

You have snow? there is meant to be snow here on the moors over night, but hopefully not in Plymouth. I guess I'll see in the morning if we do or don't.

@kevin1877uk You certainly will have by morning because we are currently busy shovelling it onto a convoy of trucks to be shipped overnight.

I was just going to suggest that. It always helps me. I'm usually the cold one. My ex used to keep the house freezing all the time and I was usually wearing a sweat suit and wrapped in a blanket. I would go outside, in the summer, just to thaw out in the sun. When he was gone, during the day, I would have all the windows open and the curtains wide open too. He would come home, turn all the a/c on and close the curtains so the house was all dark and dreary. I hated that.

I would too, I like a warm house not a freezing cold one lol. I would have said goodbye sooner rather than later lol.

I do hope the warm bath works for you. No way do you want to come down with something. Definitely try some tea after that bath. Hope that does the trick.

When I get cold like that I'll take a shower and then have a nice hot tea, coffee or cocoa.
