The Alligator Gar.

The Alligator Gar is a giant fish, that can get up to about 10 feet in length and, weigh around 400 pounds, they have torpedo shaped bodies and, I think got the nick name Alligator, because they have a beak full of sharp teeth a lot like the Alligator, the Gar has been around for over 100 million years, in addition to it's sharp teeth it also has a armor plated body to protect against predators. I saw this fish on river monsters and, it's a pretty impressive creature

yeah they are VERY dangerous as well too I use to live in Fla & we have them there & it wasn't nothing to catch one of these monsters for sure with cat fish bait but their a B to get off your hook here's a Video of one that someone caught in Texas a 7 ft one

Yes, I can imagine they are very dangerous and, hard to catch, that's one big fish.

I didn't now they are considered a fish - the look like an alligator more.

@infatuatedbby Yes, they still exist, that guy on the river monsters show caught one, mouth like a gator, but body like a fish.
