Random Word Post – rowel

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “rowel – A spiked or toothed wheel, as on a spur.” I always thought that was just a spur. Or I guess a spur is the whole assembly that attaches to the boots.
