Jumping for Joy

You all remember my post about Tigger that I did on Thursday about him being missing. He didn't come home Friday or Saturday either and wasn't here for breakfast this morning. I had given up all hope. Well as I was sitting here reading posts, out of the corner of my eye, I saw movement. I glanced in the direction and at first I was shocked, then I thought I was imagining it, then I focused in and jumped out of my chair like my butt was on fire. I flew out the front door and was calling Tigger's name. He came arunning (well as fast as 3 legs can go) up on the porch and into my arms. You have no idea of the elation that I felt. I checked him over for any wounds and there were none; except for the 4th leg that was oozing goo. I am soooooo happy that I could dance naked in the street; well, no, never mind. You can bet after Tigger wolfs down his food that I gave him, we are going to have a severe, chewing out session. Thank you so much to all mylotter friends who sent prayers for me and Tigger. It meant so much to me and apparently it paid off. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Where on earth did he go? And what's wrong with his leg? I think I missed that. I'm glad he's home safe.

@nanette64 Oh, I hope he's OK. Is there anything to be done about the tumor? Pets are family.

@TheHorse The vet said that we could 'try' to have it surgically removed but there was no guarantee another one wouldn't show up. I have to give Tigger 1cc of Milk of Magnesia every day before his first meal so that he can have a softer stool and be able to pass it. That was another reason why I was so scared for him being gone. Yeah, pets are my family so this morning when I had to put my oldest cat down, it ruined yesterday's joy. I did a post on my Momma Kitty this morning.

I wish I knew @TheHorse . Tigger has a tumor in his colon and it affected the nerves in that back leg. I'm happy he's home too.

And knowing how my neighbors like to 'shoot' at things, it's a miracle he made it @Daljinder .

@Daljinder Since I live in the country and most of the properties are a minimum of 5 acres (most are 20), shooting is allowed and happens all the time. Oh yes, Tigger got his chewing out.

@nanette64 SHOOT??? Is that allowed? Also did you give Tigger the stern talking to? He needs one.

@RussTeed Now if only I wouldn't have had to put to sleep my oldest cat this morning. The vet couldn't save her. I did a post on it.

He wolfed down an entire can of food and a load of crunchies; keeled over and took a nap @RussTeed .

@nanette64 What a life. Takes off for days, probably chasing female cats, comes home for a belly full.

I probably could have gotten away with the 'dance' @silvermist . Since I'm on 16 1/2 acres of wooded land, only the animals would have been laughing. Can't you picture the look on the squirrels faces or the raccoon's giving high fives? Oh not to mention the donkeys. I can see their sneer's now.
