Sweater Weather

Late last night I sat outside and enjoyed the mild weather. A light breeze and pleasant enough to only need my sweater. I saw a fat opossum waddling past the shed as it made its way down to the creek. Have I told you my back yard is a creek? With a huge old mimosa tree standing in the middle of it. In the summer the honeysuckle will bloom and the fragrance will come up from the creek. I can sit outside and it won't be long before something comes creeping by. The feral cats, raccoon, foxes, and the wild rabbits. There are all sorts of birds too. Mockingbirds, robins, sparrows, and many others including ducks that stop to take a swim in the creek when the water is high enough.
