After a pretty vigorous discussion on the matter, it was decided that it we will not be something that we are going to implement at this time. The majority of you seemed to feel it could lead to hard feelings and discontent and contribute to an overall negative environment. We thank you all for your valuable input.

the only thing I could suggest that might be a middle ground is a simple something on our profiles that show we made payout, but with no details. this could help show others it is possible, and yet keep it general.

I did like that idea when you suggested it. Or it could even be a little button that turned colors once we made payout.

@GardenGerty it's a nice middle ground, being encouraging, while not flaunting our success or lack there of

Good move, I think. We all have our own standards for "good days and not so good days," and I don't want to feel like I'm "competing" with other members.

A decision for the better, I think. Nice to have been asked, nicer to know the outcome. Thank you.

It was pretty large in the do not do it department but like I said it wouldn't matter to me one way or another. Anyway thanks for the update on this.

Good that you're listening I don't think the optional bit was stressed enough and also if the default was not to display I think people wouldn't have had such a problem. When something is optional I don't see why there was such strong feeling.

I still think it should be done. I respect the admins choice to not implement it at this time, but I personally feel that if it were optional that it could work to the advantage of people by being an encouragement. Thanks for an awesome website
