Do I need to be escorted by cats?

We have a couple outdoor cats. Usually, whenever I go out to do something, one will come running from wherever they are to walk with me. Probably hoping for a treat. Sometimes they’ll walk beside me, but often they’ll walk in front of me, which can be a problem. When there’s just a trail – either through deep snow or solid ground when it’s muddy – I’m stuck behind them. They’ll walk for a bit, then stop and I almost kick them. And before I can step over them, they walk ahead, only to stop and repeat everything. It’s almost as if they are so starved for attention that they want to be stepped on.

When I was a kid, my cat would walk me to my bus stop every morning, and then go back home after I got on the bus. Then, after school, he would always be waiting for me at the bus stop, and would walk me back home. He did that every school day. I always thought it was pretty cool! I told everyone he was my guard dog! lol

Oh, they are human-friendly. They like you. They want comfort and food.I have a pet cat.Every time I leave home for work, Kitty escorts me until gate, and when I arrive home in the evening, she meets me in the gate and escorts me up to the door.But, one day she was stolen by an unknown person. I cried so hard. I blottered the case to the police, but our neighbor saw someone riding a motor cycle picked Kitty while waiting me outside the gate.The feeling sucks until this time.

@oneoveralpha So terrible, my heart breaks that time.I missed Kitty until this time, and cannot find another cat like Kitty.
