How do you cope with stress?

Just today at work I heard a gossip about someone attempting to end her life because she got scolded by her superior. Upon hearing this , I thought to myself that she must be really suffering that much to contemplate suicide. Its not a one time thing, the frustrations must be building up inside and eating her will to live. And her support system might be weak because we all have problems, big or small but we learn to cope with it . So, if life is getting stressful and you need a breather what do you usually do to help yourself attain a sense of calmness amidst the chaos that is running your life?

I normally in that case isolate myself and go to the place where I sit and talk to a person whom I love.

@sjvg1976 that is good becauae I always thought that its not all the time we can rely on someone because they might be busy with thier own problems as well.

given the chance, I go somewhere I can breathe. beach, province. if I cannot go there, I go to church and breathe. other than this, I put it out in my punching bag (just recently) but before, I listen to soft music, I cry, I danced til I drop but never did I think to end my life. Life is good no matter what. you just have to be positive.

I like to talk to someone. Sometimes friends, colleagues, and mostly my husband. He can always give me good advice. Besides talking to others, I think the most important is still how I can learn to release the stress. Reading some inspiring or motivational books did help me. Now, I learn to meditate, and I really think it helps me a lot too.

I find that walking is a great stress reliever for me. Recently I have discovered that I love adult coloring books and it relaxes me so much.
