Day 12 - so, I'm late

Big deal... Wednesday didn't go great. I only got 2 of my 3 fruits in, missed breakfast's. I woke up at 3:30 so I was already tired when it was time for breakfast. However, other than being awake 20 hours and getting a scratch when we tried to trim Sparky's claws, it otherwise went well. We had a baked cod for dinner, should've cooked it a bit longer, but the couscous was ready even if the cauliflower should've also cooked longer. We did make the couscous a bit more calorie heavy by adding some feta cheese, but generally speaking couscous is bland at the best of times. We also added a little of either spinach or kale, don't know which one, the roomie added it. At least that doesn't really up the calories. We are really going to have to work on Thursdays. With the 9 a.m. doctor's appointment every Thursday morning and every other week, sometimes every week, visit to get a blood draw, we aren't eating breakfast until 10, and then we end up not getting lunch... Just ate a nectarine, and feeling stuffed, and here it is, almost 1 p.m. Guess what? Almost time to take the roomie to ANOTHER doctor's appointment!

The roomie really likes it, I'm fine with it, when its not too plain. Besides, we only can have a half a cup, so its not like I'm facing a mound of them. Better than mashed potatoes where a half a cup feels like I'm being deprived.

@ElicBxn Yes I understand how it would be more filling.

Glad you roomie has you there to take to doctors appointments. You should always eat breakfast as that is an important meal to start your day off right.

I agree, but we have to make the time, get the organization... this is only the second week after all.
