I don't know who started this, but I read this love challenge from @rebel_woman06, and I think I'd like to share my simple love story as well. Though it's simple, I know it will be long. How we met We were high school classmates, so I started to know him when I was 15 years old. We were very good friends but I am sure I didn't have crush on him. I valued him as a very good friend. Long Distance Relationship After we graduated from high school, he went to Taiwan and further his tertiary studies and I stayed in my home country. We still kept in touch with letters, and emails sometimes. I think I started to know him better from his writing, I think he is quite mature and has good thoughts. When he came back to our home country for vacation after 1.5 years, we started to be together. It was actually very weird for me, as I never thought I'd be involved in long distance relationship, and I just suddenly felt that he's the one when he came back and asked me to be his girlfriend. So, we started with long distance relationship for about 4 years. We got to see each other once a year during the vacation when he came back to our home country. Back for Good I am glad that finally he was back, and we are together. Now, we have two lovely children and another coming soon. I always believe someone is there for everyone of us. When we truly love each other, nothing else is barrier. I just realized that the coming May will be our 10th wedding anniversary, and I have known him for more than 20 years! Well, this is my simple but lengthy love story, though I have tried to keep it short. I'd love to listen to yours as well. Image: I got this picture from pixabay, and I always like this - to get old together with him, and still walking together with each other. I would not like to lead, I would not like to follow, I would like to be side by side with him.

Indeed, no amount of distance can separate two people who put enough effort into their relationship. More years to you and your husband!

Thanks. Yes, I agree with that. I still remember technology was not so advanced in those days, and phone call rates were so expensive, but we could still keep in touch with each other. Sometimes I wished we had whatsapp or skype so we could communicate with each other better. But, anyway is good for us.

Thanks. Sometimes I believe faith brought us together. There were many "ifs", if all these didn't happen, we wouldn't be together. It's just because of all these, we are not together.

@ShyBear88 That's really lovely! Sometimes, faith just bring you there. Though my husband and I were in the same class, we are actually two years apart. As I skipped one year from primary school, and he studied an extra year in high school, so he's two years older than I. Life is just so amazing, beautiful and unbelievable.

@kaka135 faith and destiny it's real. My husband and I ment when I was 16 and he was 15. We had classes together in high school. I liked him he like me but we never went out. We where kid. Of friends but not close friends. After graduating we didn't see each other till that summer we both worked at the mall and would see each other off and on was we came and went to work. Another year went by and then after that faint brought us together, we dated for 3 months, got engaged got 3 months then got married. Now nearly 6 years of marriage 11 years of knowing each other we give 3 kids and still very happy together.

Thanks. That's so lovely too! I remember one of my high school teachers always told us in class, we might end up marrying our own classmates. Perhaps we started to build the strong relationship (friendship) since we were in high school.

Aww! Happy early 10th year wedding anniversary in advance! My boyfriend and I met each other through mutual friends and we've been together for 9 years now. Parents are pushing us to be married before our 10 year anniversary, lol.

Thanks. I got that question a lot before we got married too. We didn't rush for it, but just think when we were ready (especially mentally mature enough to be parents), then we just got married. I just think everything just comes in the right time. If I got married and had kids when I was younger, I might not be the mother I am now, though I am still striving to be a good mother.

@infatuatedbby Thanks. I am still always striving and learning, still not whom I want to be now. Sometimes I think it depends on the maturity, not so much on the age. Some get help from the mothers (the kids' grandmothers). Some of my friends just don't like to take care of kids, so they'd prefer to get someone else take care of them.

@kaka135 You are a great mother! I don't know how people do it when they have kids young. I personally cannot imagine and I am not that young anymore, hehe.

I am happy to read others' love stories as well, but I haven't find any yet. Yes, actually almost all my classmates knew he liked me when we were in high school, but he didn't admit that even I asked him about it. When we were together, he told me he was smart enough not to admit that, as he knew it was not the good timing yet, and I totally agreed with him. I always think he asked me to be his girlfriend just at the very right time. It's actually 7 years before we got married. I think it's because we started dating quite young.

Thanks. At first I was wondering what LDR means. I guess that's the part most of my friends amazed of, as most of my friends didn't get the long distance relationship worked out. Moreover, they always thought I am a girl who really needs protection and can't be strong. Well, I didn't know I can be strong and independent too.

@kaka135 as long as love, honesty, and respect are there between the two of you, I don't think LDR will fail.

I had so called "puppy love", but that's very different, because that's really not love, but just more like friendship. I didn't know how to differentiate between "like" and "love" until my husband asked me to be his girlfriend. The feeling of love was just so intense that I have never felt before, that's why I knew it's him.
