I only know AR Rahman from his movie work like Slumdog Millionaire.

Slumdog millionaire was great but still not his best.
He has been around for 23 years now and must have composed over 50 albums.
His Tamil songs were great too and then he made a unique name for himself in Hindi music as well.
He was the first one to use fusion music combining core classical music with western music.
