The Dogs

The roads in my locality used to be filled with dog poop. So, one day, many of my neighbours got angry and started scaring away unsuspecting dogs and by scare away, I mean sometime they would throw throw rocks at them. My mother let them- a mother, and three sons- stay in our backyard when this happened. One day, we found one of them missing and another pup dead. We highly suspected one of our neighbour poisoned them but we didn't have any proof to pin them down. Then one day, my mother caught a guy throwing rocks at the last remaining pup, and threatened to call animal service. The strays were abused and afraid at that point, and would run away even from my mom. My mom took to feeding them and had been treating them like her own, and though they are better, they still shy away from human contact. I wish we could have done something sooner and I would never forgive my neighbours for what they did. For some reason they find it completely reasonable to abuse someone just because they can't be classified as human.

God knows, my mom got into a fight with them The real problem is, we can't actually find out who the real culprit is, though we have our suspicions. Well, these are certainly the type of person who would get a place in hell.

How inhumane it is. How can someone kill pups. Better is to handover that pup to someone who May adopt and keep it as a pet.

At that point, I don't think it was about the real issue anymore and more for the sick thrill of cruelty.

They could have chosen a better way to deal with the dogs. Throwing stones at the dogs is not a good idea. I think they could have caught the dogs and drove them out into the countryside or to have a fenced-in area to keep the dogs.

That is so wrong to be doing things like that to others just isn't right.
