I am looking forward to the Easter holiday resurrection day, it was the day our Father in heaven Jesus came back to life 3 days, after his death on the cross for our sins, for Easter we always have a big feast, usually Turkey, Ham, Stuffing, macaroni salad, mash potatoes, gravy, deviled eggs tons of pies etc. I miss hunting Easter eggs, it was actually pretty fun as a kid. I hunted them as long as I could too, until I was about 15 Mom put money in them as we got older and, hid them inside.

I hope our daughter had fun and did not think we adults were mean. We used to set out clues. She'd have to figure out each one and at the end of the clues she'd find her Easter basket. We sure had fun making up clues.

@TRBRocks420 She began to read when she was still a toddler. I think figuring out things was good for her.

my first egg hunting was in the office.. i have never experienced the fun of Easter egg hunting when i was a kid. what we usually do during easter is join a procession going to our church, attend a mass when we get there and go home for the feast.

We really don't do anything for Easter. There aren't any kids left in the family...

That sounds like fun. I've never been on an Easter egg hunt before. Hopefully one day. Would always be fun to find chocolate!

@TRBRocks420 We do it here but it depends on the parents. My parents never hid them for me to find. But I know other parents did / do it. Maybe I should ask dad to hide some for me next time lol Feel like a kid again.

I always loved hunting Easter eggs and getting a new dress to wear to church. I never ate the eggs that were dyed those pretty colors. To this day I will not eat an egg.
