I'm a Sentimental ole Fool, I admit it.

Alerts!! I will be discussing the storyline. Well, it is sad to say "goodbye" to Downton Abbey but I have finally broken down and am watching the last episode. I had taped it and couldn't bring myself to watch it. I am sentimental that way. I waited and waited. It was actually telecast on last Sunday but wanted to set aside a special time. Everything seems to be wrapping up well. I am about half through it now. Am a bit worried about Carson. He has a palsy. Daisy, Edith, Mary, Miss Crawley and the gang seem to have a great future. I was hoping Barrows would come back and he sure did. Anna is having her baby in Lady Mary's bedroom. How fun! Mrs. Potmore is having a bit of a romance started too. My transmission kept cutting out so I missed some of the key comments made but I think I got the jist of it. Have you watched it? Are you as pleased as I am at the ending?

I have never watched Downtown Abbey but my Mother has watched every one of them (she is 87yrs) and told me I need to watch it. I will watch it all when I can. I know it has to be an awesome series.

I loved the series and believe in 'ever happy after' endings so what else is there to say?!

I think you might. It was about the upper crust and the servants both. Both were good people.

I really enjoyed it. Glad they didn't go longer and draw it all out. I will miss though.

I am sure I would like that show. I may have to see if the library has it and start at the beginning!

I recorded the entire final season and have yet to watch yet. It's always sad when a TV series you like comes to an end. It's like saying goodbye to friends.
