Republicans and the Trump card

United States

Just when you think US Politics cannot get any stranger. I voted for a Republican candidate once, but have been a life long Democrat. When Donald Trump first toyed with the idea of running, I thought to myself...a billionaire and a reality show person. Yeah right. Here it is and the "Trump card" keeps making the political shows a "must see". Like those who watch soap operas as a guilty pleasure, I find myself trying to see all the theatrics..even resorting to youtube to catch up. So what do you think will happen if this reality show, "they are all losers", bad boy billionaire gets the nomination. Maybe he will pick a suitable running mate from the reality show pool such as Kim Kardashian. Hey, Kanye West would have an excuse to be in the White House. "Imma gonna tell you...." in the words of Kanye, wouldn't that make for interesting politics and TV. Seriously, anyone have any thoughts on this debacle?

I do not watch the politics, but I am scared at the idea that this man can become the President of the United States.

I can hardly call this stuff politics...It is more of a 3 ring circus and I think people watch it for entertainment value. It is sort of a surreal "reality show" but unfortunately it is all too real.

I would have more faith in Honey Boo Boo as the nominee. Guess we have to wait till she gets to the age to run.

I think Donald Trump is either a ringer to assure Hillaty wins the election or he is truly Hitler reincarnated. If he is a sincere candidate, the GOP needs to stop allowing themselves to be bullied by his rhetoric and dramatic antics that are inciting and dividing this country. Make America great again? History shouts loudly to urgently remind us that Hitler won over Germany by using "Make Germany great again".... Does that give anyone else a bad case of goosebumps or at least some nausea mixed wuth fear?

Well that is a chilling thought. Thank you for commenting and I am sure there are a lot of folks with an opinion on all this. I guess it depends what happens after the primaries. The whole thing seems rather surreal if you ask me.
