I was surfing online earlier looking for an article to read and came across 20 Most Important Inventions of all time from rantlifestyle website. And it made me look around my room. Aside from anesthesia (which is top 20 on that list and which i find the most valuable in this world lately due to my leg injury) i imagined how life would be without mirrors, TV, AC's and a lot more. From where you are right now, name 2 things that you think are the most useful to you nowadays and let me know why if you can. Here's mine. 1) electric fan. whoever invented this, i can't thank you enough. i don't think i'll last this summer without you. 2) books. we go through power outages for a quiet a while now and without internet, TV, and charged phones its a bit dullish.

Well for me, it's definitely the computer and airplanes. Both are important means of communication.

I wanted to say Internet, I think I can still live without it, though it's been so much useful to me nowadays. I would say electricity and water supply. Though I know there are still ways to live without them, it'd be much more troublesome.

oh I would have to say my phone for one. I couldn't do anything without it really. And on the opposite side I will say my electric heater, as I couldn't have gotten through winter without that.

For me it would have to be electricity and air conditioning. At my age and with the health issues I have, I don't know how I would survive without them.

I agree with both of your choices. For me I am the most thankful for books and my computer. I would be so bored without them. To me they are wonderful inventions. I could live without them but I wouldn't want to haha.

Well, thinking immediatly about what's in front of me, my laptop and internet connection. For me they are important because I can get news from different places very fast, keep in touch with ppl, as well as entertainment with movies or tv shows I wouldn't be able to see normally here. That and the heater, because I suppose where I am is the opposite of where you are, and...well, it gets really cold here:).

1. Central air conditioning due to my fear of being hot. 2) Garbage disposal! A lot of yucky stuff that could stink up a garbage can goes down the drain after a good grinding.

i wish airconditioning doesnt cost that much. it would have been my first on the list instead of electric fan.
