My daughter will be leaving for good this time.

I spoke with kay and she agreed living here is not going to work for her. she wants friends and freedom. Sorry but that can't happen here. I called my housing worker and let her know and she told me to report to my building that kay will be moving out on what ever date. The worker then removes her from my lease and they will remove her from my grant. I am going to type up that letter now giving kay 30 days to locate housing. I know where she wants to go and that is ok with me. she wants wings so she can fly. I feel so much better that all this will be over soon.

@Hatley She is going to have it rough when the lease changes. I want my spare room empty. I want to make it room I can enjoy.

Okay sharon so this will work out the best for both of you. I am so glad now and I bet you are relieved. Good Kay understands the limits you have. And now this wont be hanging over your head as I know you have wanted this done and over with for a long time.

How old is your daughter? I was on my own at the age 16, I paid my own rent and worked, owned a used car and all.

Anytime l hear someone is leaving home to rent, l feel sorry for them, what`s wrong with staying home play by the rules and paying mum the rent? This way they can save more, have family close by, laundry done and save for their own place instead of renting. l moved away from home at 19 but if l could do it all over again, i would stay home much longer, pay the rent to mum while saving for my own place. That does not mean l can not party, just party less, invite friends less and concentrate on saving.Rent takes the biggest chunk of salary.

That's good she is moving out and you can have your freedom and place back. She needs to be on her own and learn responsibility herself.

That is the best thing for you and for Kay. I remember when my youngest daughter came home when her electric was turned off and she brought stinking spoiled food saying it was good. that was so gross.
