Have you ever wanted to tell your boss to shove it?

I have always had those red rose moments, when my face turned red like a rose when angry at my boss for saying something that triggered a defensive response. To be able to just tell my boss to stick it would be so good to my ego. I think bosses know it when you are thinking, "Jump in a Lake little dictator!" I remember once I overheard one person say how much he would love to give the boss a piece of his mind. I suggested he ask for a raise instead.

Once I did have my say. They never bothered me again Anthony. And I did not get fired and I was cheered by the rest of the workers.

@lookatdesktop You really would have Anthony. I was a very tough cookie at that time. I was working factory overnights from 11 at night til 7 morning. She was a monster. As soon as I hit the floor she was on me. That night I was sick and had to take some kind of meds that made me cranky. My Father had just passed away RIP and I could not get any days off ...a terrible thing. Well that night she thought she was going to be her usual ram rod self. I literally barked in her face and had her up against the office wall. She thought she owned the place..she never bothered me after that. When I did that I thought for sure Id be fired..well her boss said it was about time someone put her in her place and the factory floor was cheering..it was great lolz

I've had a boss or two like that over the years. One boss I often wanted to say that two wound up cussing me out when I gave my notice.

@lookatdesktop What's funny is that two weeks later he told a friend of mine who went to him for some tax work that he wished he had me back.

The fact that most of us have felt this way leads me to the next point of fact, We don't say a thing because we know the boss has the last words, You're Fired. My way or the Highway! so to speak so we always swallow our pride or have a bit of humble pie with our day to day.

Most definitely! But of course I bit my lip and held it all in. My first boss I probably could tell him to shove it because we were more like friends. However my second boss, oh he was a total control freak, and if I even dared to put him in his place, he would have kicked me OUT of that place!

I think there is not an employee in the world who has not wanted to tell their boss to shove it on a daily basis!

@lookatdesktop I wanted to really bash on boss back in NYC. The previous day my mom had fallen on her wrist. The next day she called me at work and said she had great pain. Even though my mom was quite good at English in situations having to deal with hospitals she would have a hard time on her own. I went to inform the boss that I would have to be excused. Before I could say anything he said just don't tell me you have to leave work at this moment. Wham, pow but he did let me go take mom to the hospital. Her wrist was actually broken.
