Let's Make A Deal; Wayne Brady, Wayne Brady

Wayne Brady is an entertaining host on Let's Make A Deal. However, I have to wonder if he is insecure or something since he apparently thinks he has to be introduced twice. First the announcer Jonathan Mangum says "here is TV's big dealer" and then Wayne Brady says something ending with "I'm Wayne Brady." Thus the double introduction; once by the announcer and then by Wayne Brady himself. That doesn't happen with Drew Carey on The Price is Right.

Don't know why it's set up that way but I'm sure Wayne Brady has his reasons.

I wonder if he's trying to emulate the original host, Monty Hall. I'd be interested to know if that is how Hall did it way back then.
