Another sunshiny day.

Another Sunshiny day, me and Rooger have already been on two long walks and, had a good time, but neighbors across the street are already pissing me off, because they have no fence yet, they let there dogs outside. I'm sorry but no matter how well your dog is trained, if it sees my dog it's probably going to try to come over. I really hope not, but I know male dogs and, they aren't usually particularly fond of other male dogs, every male dog my uncle has had, that he let roam free, which also was dumb has ended up in fights with them. Anyway praying everything stays good and, the dogs stay across the road.

That sounds awful about the neighbor. This should be a. No brainer that they keep their dog on a leash.

Yes, I am praying they aren't still out there, when I have to go out again. I'm not in the mood to break up a dog fight.

Yes, I am just hoping for the best and, I will try to scare them off until I get home, but not something we should have to deal with.

@TiarasOceanView I hope they aren't too. I'm not that worried about their Great Dane, but a little about the what looks like a pit bull.

Do the dogs of your neighbor bite? They should put up a fence.

We have had history of my uncles dogs getting in fights with there dogs yes. Granted it's mostly because my uncle let his dog roam too, but you just never know how two dogs will react to one another.

@TRBRocks420 You're right. Hug Rooger and cover him from those dogs.

They just roam free, not on a chain? I hope so too as that could get messy if they get into a fight.

Yes, no chain or anything, they mostly stay over there at least, but I have seen the pit bull venture across the road once before I got Rooger.

I watch a lot of court shows on TV, and so many of them have to do with dog fights while someone is walking their dog. My neighborhood is good because those with dogs either keep them in the house or in a well fenced back yard. Those who walk their dogs all have them on leashes. And I've never seen a fight here. I hope things go well for you and for Rooger. It can be scary out there!

I hope all goes well too, as long as their dogs stay across the street everything will be fine.

I hope your neighbors do the sensible thing and put up a fence. Dogs in our neighborhood are either supposed to be on a leash, with the owner at the other end, or behind a fence. Tying off a dog to a tree is a no-no around here.

Yes, it's the law here too, but since we are on a hill, they don't think they have to follow the laws I guess. I am praying they won't try to come across the street, but you just never know.

When I ran cross country in high school, one of our training routes took us past a house where the homeowner let his dog out whenever he saw us. No fences, the dog would just chase us down the road. Guy was obviously a jerk.

That is a dangerous situation to be in when dogs are allowed to roam. We have leash laws for dogs and cats here, so no roaming dogs allowed. I never see a dog or cat out on the loose due to the fear of having to pay a hefty fine. Leash laws really do keep pets and humans safer.

Yes, I am pretty sure it's illegal here too, but we live on a hill and, no cops in the immediate area, in other words the neighbors ignore the laws, but if the dogs do cause trouble I will report them.
