Late Start to Today

Today didn't start out very good. I woke with a migraine around 6:30 this morning and decided the best thing to do was just stay in bed. Which I did, getting up around 12:30 when it was almost gone, thanks to Ibuprofen and Feverfew and Pepsi. I didn't think it would go away at all. A shower finished it off and so did a wonderful lunch of corned beef and mashed potatoes.
I haven't had anything sweet or chocolate in a couple days, so I'm wondering if maybe my eyes have a lot to do with the headaches I've had all week, though today's was the worst and I was lucky enough not to have one yesterday. I've also been doing a lot of reading lately, without my glasses as they are impossible to read with. I'm going to ask the eye doctor about that on Saturday.
My granddaughter stopped by for a little bit with Naomii. One look at me and she burst into tears. Sabrina did say she's like that with a lot of people, particularly her doctor which she just came from. They're thinking she might be autistic, but won't be able to do further testing until July.
So that has been my day so far. I do need to get out and get groceries, but I want to get the notifications done first and see what you are all up to.
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone. Thanks for reading.

Glad your migraine is gone and I hope it stays that way. I get headaches when I don't eat chocolate or have caffeine for long periods of time either. I haven't had migraines in forever i used to get them and the cause was i needed new glasses.

I'm hoping the new glasses will get rid of the headaches. I'm still in the process of ordering them.

It;s a good thing , you don't have to go to work everyday , so a migraine like that can make you just be in bed until noon time .
Luckily , i seldom get headaches . And when i do , i just rub my temples with white flower embrocation and i a little while they will be gone .

It could be you needing a new prescription but it could also be that spring has arrived and allergies are in full force. Probably to do with that as well. I hope you enjoy your grocery shopping. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I'll do the shopping tomorrow. I'll probably go when my son goes to work, unless he takes the car to work. I don't have spring allergies, in fact I don't have any allergies anymore. I used to have hayfever, but haven't had it since I lived in California for several years before returning to the Midwest.

@just4him You are very lucky then. My allergies are always eye related, itchy water eyes or dry dry eyes. It was a nice and cool day today, I hope it will be again tomorrow. Do you live within walking distance of a store?

No guarantees since I've been waking with headaches almost every day. Just not as bad as today.

Thank you. It's definitely gone now that I've also had something to eat.
