Scary night

Hubby had a tire blow out tonight on his way home from work, right in the middle of a construction area. He had very little room to pull over, and had to change the tire, as people were speeding by. The speed limit is supposed to be 25mph there, but you're lucky if they slow down to 45mph. Once he changed the tire, just to find out the spare wasn't much better. He had to drive all the way home at 25mph. He started at 6:00pm, and finally made it home after 9:00pm. I was home worried, and praying hard, I was afraid for him, there are some crazy drivers out there. God heard my prayers and send a police office that offered to follow him home to make sure he made it home safely. He followed him all the way to our driveway, then said "have a nice night and God bless" before he drove off. You can't tell me that wasn't an answered prayer. He sent an angel dressed as a police officer to help. God is good!

Wow, that was very nice of the police officer to follow your husband home ensuring he's home safe. That isn't very common here to see a nice police officer like that. In fact ~ I was beside a car that had car troubles. All the police officer did was flash it's side lights (bright white lights) at the car to remind the car to use the emergency lights and sped off in a different direction. The police officer did not pull over to make sure everyone was alright. In fact when it comes to car troubles - I've never seen a police car pull over to question if they need help only at accidents. I am glad your husband was not hurt ~ it is quite dangerous to pull over in a tight area where people drive faster than the posted speed limit.

Of course it would have been even better if he had not the tire problem, but he was lucky to reach home safely.
