Typing written text is quite easy through practice. What about typing what someone says, like in a speech? Will it be possible to type what someone is saying without being left behind? Have you got any idea how to practice this?

i tried that out of fun. i think transcriptionists are close to doing the same. if you want to try and be practiced, open and a Word blank doc and find a recorded speech on youtube. that'll work..

As regard to typing written text with 10 fingers, I think I can do that without looking at the keyboard. I still find it difficult to type what is being mentioned orally, especially the one with longer sentences like in a speech. Will I be able to gain required speed through practice? Thank for responding.

You then really need to improve your typing speed. There are many typing software's on net you can try. I know on "typing master". Quit good software to use. But you need to do lot of practice as you can't improve your typing speed in a day.

I am not a good enough typist to do that.
